Partaaaay!

This card was made for a stamp club that I belong to (and a challenge at Mojo Monday.) A bunch of girls getting together making cards....don't you think this card is appropriate? :-) Anyway, on to the card....the paper is called citrus mix glitter paper and it's made by ki memories. It's so glittery, I love it! The image is called CosmoBella and you can find her HERE. The ribbon is from SU and the little tag is a nestite. Hope you like it and thanks for stopping by!

Challenge Card

Today's card was made for the challenge over at For Fun Challenges. The assignment is to make a masked card. I cut out a circle on a post it note then sponged SU's Apricot Appeal and Regal Rose, I then removed the mask and lightly sponged the uncovered circle with SU's Barely Banana. The stamp was done with Versa Mark and black embossing powder. Throw on a couple of black rhinestones and a Martha Stewart punched border and there you have it. Hope you like it and thanks for stopping by!

Coffee for a Friend

This is a gift set that I created for a friend. Since the theme is coffee I had to use different shades of brown. I used a couple different pieces of Archiver's shimmer paper which I just love. The shaped paper is from Making Memorie's spiral journaling book call "Paperie Mocha" I also used the coordinating expoxy clips on the front and inside of the card. The shabby vintage ribbon is from Deb's Simple Treasures. This particular color is called "Cake Crumbs"...don't you love it? The coffe cup image is from SU's "Thanks a Latte" and the sentiment was computer generated. The basket is from Hobby Lobby's clearance and I'm not sure if you can tell or not but it's shaped like a coffee cup. Cute, huh? Hope you like it (and I hope she does too) and thanks for stopping by!

Thanks from the farm

Today's card was made from Cosmo Cricket's mini deck "Garden Variety". The stamped image is from one of my favorite SU sets "Best of Cluck" and I used the CB circles folder for the yellow layer. I think this is just a good bright and cheery card to have on standby. Hope you like it and thanks for stopping by!

Hello Kitty!

I had so much fun making this card. For some reason I am in love with Hello Kitty. This Kitty "Mimmy" was made using a Sizzlits die cut. The rest was just created using scraps of paper I had laying around, CB Swiss dots folder ans some tiny black rhinestones. Hope you like it and thanks for stopping by!

A new post....finally!

I've been pretty quiet lately, right? Well, I had a baby shower that I had to get ready for. Yes, that's right...my grandbaby's shower. Woohoo! Anyway, everything went really well and no I'm back at it again. This card was just a fun one to make. Unfortunately, I have a LOT of people I could send this one to. Seems like things just happen all at once and then they smooth out for a while. The monkey and vine is from a stamp set from Michaels. It's their brand from Recollections and it's called Zoo-Licious. Hope you like it, thanks for being patient and stopping back by!

Happy Mother's Day

This post is a gift I made for my new granddaughter's mommy. It's a picture frame from Creative Imaginations that I decorated using crocheted flowers from Archivers' $1.99 bin, flowers from Flora Doodles also found at Archivers and pink sparkly flower stickers from Michael's (sorry, don't know who makes them). I also used a Martha Stewart border punch, large circle Nesties and the paper is from a Me and My Big Ideas paper pad.
Even though she's not here yet; I think it's important to let the new mommy-to-be know how much we appreciate all that she's going through. Thanks Jonie! Happy Mother's day to all you mothers out there!! Hope you like it and thanks for stopping by!

Back to an old standby

This card is one that I've made for friends on several occasions. It's just really fun and girlie. The stamp is from Hobby Lobby (I saw it in their clearance bin the other day) and the paper is from my stash that I've had for quite a while. The pearl circle is from Michael's. It came in a pack of 10 or 12 and I got them in the bridal area. Hope you like it and thanks for stopping by!
