A Little Birdie Told me....

This card was a fairly quick and simple card. The little birdcage is from Jolee's. Have you seen their new stuff? Very cool. I Cuttlebugged the background and used paper from an awesome paper pack that I got at Hobby Lobby for 1/2 price. Gotta love that! It's called Back to Basics and it full of bright colors in several different patterns. Perfect accent paper. The sentiment is from Hobby Lobby as well. I hope you like the card and thanks for stopping by.

Baby Shower Card and exciting news!

Here is a peek at the baby shower cards and parting gift cowboy boots filled with goodies that I made for my new granddaughter's baby shower. Yes, that's right....I'm going to be a Grandma! She'll be making her arrival at the end of August....eeeeeee! This is the first grandchild for us and we're so excited. I am doubly excited because it's going to be a girl. I had two boys and I wouldn't trade them for anything but it is so nice shop for all the cute PINK things out there. Anyway...you can tell that I'm excited but back to the card. The stamp was one that I picked up at Michael's and the boot template is from  Ellen Hutson. The paper is from a Martha Stewart paper pack found at Walmart. I hope you like it and thanks for stopping by!

Card for the hubby

Tomorrow is my DH's birthday and last year he was shocked when I didn't make him a card. To tell you the truth I thought he could care less! So...this year I was sure to make him one. As you can see, I used lots of Flowersoft and a cute little image from Hambo Stamps. The dandelion on the inside is a laser cut that I've had for years. Pretty simple but as you all know...it's a little tough to make a masculine card. (I really wanted to add some little flowers along the grass' edge!) Hope you like it and thanks for stopping by!

Happy Birthday Monkey

Today's card is a simple one made for my niece's birthday. The felt monkey on the card is from Michael's found in their $1 bin. I thought it was cute and knew I would be able to use it for something and what do you know....here it is! I used one of the new EK Success border bunches...love it. Pretty simple card but I think it's one a little girl will like. Thanks for stopping by and I hope you like the card!

Last of the calendar pages

Ok, this is it for the calendars. The months are not in order but that's ok because I didn't make my page themes to match the month except for Christmas. These were just random family photos....some current some from a long time ago. Hope you like them and thanks for stopping by!

More Calendar Pages....

Here's a few more pages from the calendar I talked about in yesterday's post. Don't forget, you can click on each picture to get a closer look at the details. I had to be a little skimpy on the embellishments because the calendar would have been too heavy to hang up! (But I still manged to get quite a few on each page. He,he,he.) More tomorrow. Hope you like them and thanks for stopping by!

Change of Pace

I created a calendar for my Mom and Mom-in-law for Christmas. I took pictures of my favorites of the two calendars combined so I thought I would share them with you. I'll start out with four months and show you a few more each day. (the pics take sooo long to upload!) It was a lot of fun and they really enjoyed their gifts. Hope you like it and thanks for stopping by!

Spring,Friends and Embellishments

Today's card was inspired by a great friend of mine who always gets my creative juices flowing. Thanks, Kim...you're the best! I'll include a picture of her creation after this post...it's a beautiful card. This card was made for a card swap that I'm going to tomorrow night. The theme is "Spring". I decided to use all the bright colors that remind me of spring along with flowers, ribbon, buttons, brads, and dew drops. Whew! That's a lot of embellishments but I'm an embellishment kind of gal! Hope you like the cards and thanks for stopping by!
